I went to Electric Daisy Carnival 2010 last night, and must say it was the best party I’ve ever been to! So much to see, do, and AMAZING music! My favorite set was performed by Infected Mushroom. Fantastic music and performance. Deadmau5 had good music, but his performance was disappointing for being the headliner. One of the best things about EDC was that it was a combination of a sorta rave mixed with a carnival, so there were plenty of free rides and deliciously bad for you fairground food. There were colorful lights decorating the entire place, and huge statues made of what looked like bronze that were also shooting FIRE. Everyone there was friendly and fun, the girls dressed HOT, and it was just a great time. I witnessed no douchebaggery whatsoever, other than the dumb girl who ran into me and knocked over my $8 chicken terriaki out of my hands after I only had 2 bites. Sadness. I thought of doing an acoustic cover again, and as I´m sick today, I could spare some time Chose BLG AOL Sessions Version of The Great Escape because it´s really well performed and I liked the idea of a different tuning this time For those who wanna know, it´s Open C (CGCGCE) The powerchord parts just play like Drop D but here, they always throw in the 3 high strings but make it sound full and making everything basically chords in the key of C, only with different root notes Most of it plays like the normal record, some parts though I figured out myself and except for the interlude or solo (if you wanna call it that) I only played Martin´s rhythm part If you like it, rate, comment and last but not least SUBSCRIBE because there sure is more to come (as usual) =)
